Energy copy fails in the adjectives. “Major” is not a volume. “Historic” is not a contract. Nameplate capacity is what a plant is built to be able to do, not what it did on Tuesday. Generation is what it produced. A reader who is handed only the first number has been told a hope.

Liquefied gas is not crude oil, and a memorandum is not a final investment decision. When a company announces a study, the news is the study. When a ministry announces a target year, the news is the sentence in the document, not the future the sentence wishes for. We will quote the sentence we mean and link the document when it is public.

The same care applies to climate lines that arrive already packaged. A percentage without a baseline year is not yet a claim we can print. A technology without an owner is not yet a thing. If the feed says less than that, the brief says less than that, and the essay does not invent the rest.
